Estate agents and valuers Harrison Murray have entered an exciting new era in Bedford.
After 10 years of the business being run as a franchise, the Bedford branch has now been brought back under the main company umbrella – with a new sales manager at the helm. The Harrison Murray name was first established around 30 years ago, and currently has 18 branches across the Eastern region and Home Counties.
Sales manager Jo Howes says she is looking forward to an exciting, positive and invigorating time for the office and its customers, whilst raising the profile of the Bedford branch and making it the number one choice in the town and in surrounding villages.
Harrison Murray residential has just reported a seven per cent increase in sales over the past year, bucking the national trend reported by the HM Revenue & Customs which recently announced figures showing a fall of one per cent in UK house sales in 2011.
Experienced estate agent Jo has recently been promoted to the post at Bedford, after joining Harrison Murray over a year ago as senior sales negotiator/valuer – moving from her previous estate agency in Kent.
Jo said: “With a new look team and the positive outlook here at Harrison Murray, I’m thrilled to have stepped into the role of sales manager. Our seven-strong team is committed to enhancing the service we provide to our customers as well as raising the profile of the branch. All members of the team live within the area, so enjoy a great knowledge of the local market to complement our professionalism and dedication to buyers and sellers.”
